SUNBOWL XXIV - Play Hard Or Go Home

The Sun Bowl entered its 24th season and in the past had some of the most exciting games of football throughout the weekend.

With the size of this years championships ( 21 teams ) it was undoubtably a fantastic display of football prowess. The Sun Bowl featured 8 Duncan Teams, 4 Victoria, 8 Vancouver and The 2008 USFTL National Champions from Dallas Texas, Game Time.  This was the first time the tournament had attracted an American team and one of its caliber.

All levels of the game were seen on this one weekend with Sunday bringing out the championship rounds in "Top Flight", "Almost Top Flight" and "Grounded" divisions This tournament has become the largest of it's kind in North America and continues to improve the level of football that is played throughout the Cowichan Valley and BC. With the addition of Game Time to the schedule a new level of football was seen throughout the Sun Bowl, which made the weekend and McAdam Park the place this past June 19th, 20th and 21st.
