Womens' Football on Vancouver Island consists of two Leagues; one in Cowichan and one in Victoria.  Both Leagues have been around since 1984, drawing players between 16 - 50 years of age.  Women from all occupations and fitness levels have taken up this exciting sport!

The game itself is non-contact and players do not wear protective padding of any kind.  The only required gear are cleats and a flag belt which is worn on the hips.
